When I walked to the front desk I felt really woozy and loopy... I never done that with a little blood taking before... so it must of been the gardasil, I asked the lady at the desk If it was what the side effects were, if it made you woozy and out of it.. she said no. Im glad I wasnt driving... I went home to research it and it seems alot of people have this feeling after the shot... Im glad I got it though, and cant wait to finish the shots and get it over with... this time Im going to pay a little more attention to whats going on... The first two were somewhat painful. The third was considerably more painful. NONE of the shorts made me pass out, vomit or break out in hives. My shoulder hurts quite a bit and it is difficult to move my arm. However, I'm sure this pain is nothing compared to the pain or CERVICAL CANCER! Come on girls, moms! Get your children vaccinated! Passing out, vomiting, pain in the shoulder is well worth knowing that you are protected against cervical cancer. I’m 23 and I just got my third Gardasil shot today. Has yours gone away Urszula?? I have been a little concerned and am now freaking out after reading all these posts on the different sites. Other than the small lump I have had no other reactions. I have noticed that my sciatica has been acting up more frequently that it ever has before but I do not know whether it is because of the shot or not. The very next day her left side from her neck/shoulder to her abdomen was very sore. It hurt to turn her head, lift her arm as well as laugh. It has lasted now for 3 days. The shot wasn't bad at all, no worse than any shot I have been given before. I've heard that the pain increases with each shot of the Gardasil series, but I'm sure they won't be that bad. She got her HPV shot Jan 09 and 10 days later fainted for the first time. My daughter has all the symptoms as yours and is also on a beta blocker that has helped alot. She received her first injection in Jan 09 and 10 days later fainted for the first time. After 5 months of tests and seeing every specialist imaginable she received the official POTS diagnosis 2 weeks ago. We are lucky that we have found a beta blocker to help with her symptoms but her life is not the same. I hope your daughter has meds to help with the symptoms as well. Don't judge other parents for wanting healthy children. I'm 17 and I asked my mother for the shot because I want to be protected. And I don't think getting the shot lets girls think it's ok to start being sexually active. Most of us are old enough to understand that the shot it for protective measures and benefits us in the future. And anyways, if girls my age want to start becoming sexually active, it's not a shot that's going to start us...it's hormones. So don't bag on other parents. It was the best shot I have ever had. Not painful as all. A slight pain afterwards in my arm which last 5 minutes, but just felt as bad as someone brushing a bruise. Im feeling really good, nothing strange at all. I will add that I am 23 years old, not that it shouldnt have anything to do with it... but I can tell you I have no hesitations about the third shot.
