What other side affects did you have? I am experiencing the same thing and have been sick for almost 2 months now ever since the shot. Did yours ever go away?

I may have suffered quite a bit from this vaccine... but I'm not against it. I strongly urge improvement and more responsibility though.

My school made me take the vaccine. I usually get a fever with vaccines, but that is a very common side effect.

First vaccine, I got a 41 degree fever. A bit higher than normal, but I thought "Hey, no biggie. Two more and protected!".

Second. I fainted. Never have, but I did. Four times that day. Then at least once a day for the rest of the year. Stairs, on the bus, during tests... But that was the start of it. It mucked up general cycles of my body, my sleeping got more irregular (though it was not perfect from the start). Heart, lungs and such were laboured- I had tests for them.

Then my stomach went bad. I've had to have biopsies and such. But it's not a disease,or an illness so I couldn't get a medical certificate. It mucked up my studies. Heck, it ruined it. I still have the stomach thing, now for two years plus.

I also lost my lingual memory once from fainting. I lost most of my ability of my second language- which I speak with my mother everyday.

There was no way I could go with the last one of course- it's a shame that I couldn't go through with the last one and be protected from cervical cancer (a tragic illness that has stolen many lives)... but it was too dangerous for me. My lungs may not have taken it.

My mother is intent on stopping everyone she knows from having it. A bit different from my views (and slightly radical), but I guess if your child suddenly told you 'I can't understand what you're saying' when you were speaking as you always would, or if you had to take your child to the hospital three days a week you might act that way.

It's a case to case thing. No one can know for sure that the gardasil vaccine is the one responsible, but the dates with everyone's cases match too well. While I don't want this potentially miraculous vaccine to be ditched, as I said before it REALLY needs to be improved upon.

You don't know what will happen until you have the vaccine. The chances of getting really bad side effects are minor. It's like a gamble, but with a lower percentage of losing-- which means that there is always still the chance of losing of course (losing being getting life changing illnesses).

the pain isn't the problem with gardasil. its the long term side effects. i was a straight a student, popular and playing national sport. last year i missed over a half year of school. i strongly reccommend not risking it. its non properly trialed and hasn't been around long enough to prove it even help with cancer. everything kills cancer in a petri dish, in a body its different.

It burned for about 3mins... and then I had to get blood taken from the other arm for something else. When I walked to the front desk I felt really woozy and loopy... I never done that with a little blood taking before... so it must of been the gardasil, I asked the lady at the desk If it was what the side effects were, if it made you woozy and out of it.. she said no. Im glad I wasnt driving... I went home to research it and it seems alot of people have this feeling after the shot... Im glad I got it though, and cant wait to finish the shots and get it over with... this time Im going to pay a little more attention to whats going on...

I'm 23 and I just got my third Gardasil shot today. The first two were somewhat painful. The third was considerably more painful. NONE of the shorts made me pass out, vomit or break out in hives. My shoulder hurts quite a bit and it is difficult to move my arm. However, I'm sure this pain is nothing compared to the pain or CERVICAL CANCER! Come on girls, moms! Get your children vaccinated! Passing out, vomiting, pain in the shoulder is well worth knowing that you are protected against cervical cancer.

I'm 17, and I had my second shot last October. The first shot stung a little on the day I got it, and I didn't think anything of it. The second round of Gardisil was much worse, though. I fainted immediately after recieving the injection, and I don't even have an aversion to needles. The injection site stung for days afterward, as well. I have no intention of getting the third shot.

I received my 3rd shot about a month ago and I too have a small lump where the shot was injected. Has yours gone away Urszula?? I have been a little concerned and am now freaking out after reading all these posts on the different sites. Other than the small lump I have had no other reactions. I have noticed that my sciatica has been acting up more frequently that it ever has before but I do not know whether it is because of the shot or not.

My daughter, 17, just had her first shot. The very next day her left side from her neck/shoulder to her abdomen was very sore. It hurt to turn her head, lift her arm as well as laugh. It has lasted now for 3 days. Won't be getting the 2nd shot as we are afraid of other reactions.

Just yesterday I got my first Gardasil shot, and was terrified because of what I had heard. The shot wasn't bad at all, no worse than any shot I have been given before. I've heard that the pain increases with each shot of the Gardasil series, but I'm sure they won't be that bad. Cervical cancer probably hurts more.

My 18 year old daughter was diagnosed with POTS as well. She got her HPV shot Jan 09 and 10 days later fainted for the first time. My daughter has all the symptoms as yours and is also on a beta blocker that has helped alot. Feel free to contact me to compare notes.
